Busting Project Management Training Myths – Part I!

Are you an accidental project manager? Or are you an experienced veteran who thinks project management training is anybody’s cup of tea? Well, for starters, there are hundreds of myths doing the rounds that are threatening to negate the importance of CMMI training courses or project management training online.

We have tried to bust some of these myths with project management courses in this three-part blog post series! Check the pointers out!

  • Bad training is better than no training. Well, it is better that you remain a novice and learn things on the field than trying to get geared up and executing everything in the wrong with bad training sessions. Investing in training that has no output is worse than saving all that money for business expansion purposes.
  • Price fads. No don’t fall for them. This is true for all aspects of the IT industry. In fact, if you are skeptical of the cheaper training sessions, try getting project management certification courses after evaluating their worth – not in monetary terms but in practical value they will offer post completion of training.
  • Project management training DOES NOT guarantee a better workforce or workflow. While it depends on your employees to be receptive and adaptive to changes recommended by CMMI training courses, how well they implement the same varies from department to department.

We bust more myths on project management courses in the next part of this blog series! Stay tuned!
